Advertising your home for sale on the Pittsburgh Home List Web site is easy:
Step 1
Take a Digital Picture – Computers cannot display high resolution images, so set the digital camera to the lowest resolution. The picture will still look good and they will load faster over the Internet. We recommend pictures that are 72 dots per inch and 320 pixels wide by 240 pixels high. Save the picture to your computer where you can find it when you complete the listing form. If you don’t have a digital camera, ask a friend. If necessary, you can add your listing and email the picture to us later. Homes for sale in Pittsburgh sell faster with a picture.
Note – One picture of the front is best. If a buyer would like to see the inside, we want them to contact you or your agent to schedule an appointment. Please use a unique name for your picture, like: 123streetaddress.jpg
Step 2
Complete the Listing Form – Include everything you think will make a buyer want to schedule an appointment to see your home. Your agent can help you determine the correct asking price. If you need an agent or a real estate appraiser, we suggest you contact one listed in the "Find A Service" section of this web site.
Step 3
Yard Sign & Information Box – If you have an agent, make sure they place a "For Sale" sign in your front yard. If not, we suggest you use one of our FREE For Sale By Owner yard signs. Our signs include our Web site address so people can get details about your home before they call you.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
- 30 second audio - for $15 we will add a short audio clip to your listing. Just email the script to us, we will create an MP3 file and add it to your listing.
- Picture Service - for $25 we will drive to your home and take a picture of the front, then edit the picture and add it to your listing.
- Virtual Tour - for $70 a professional photographer will come to your home to create a 360 degree virtual tour of the inside. We only recommend this feature for large homes with lots of open space.
- Video Tour - full audio and video...call for details.
